I say there should not be!!
The powers that be, who ever they are, need to issue a
statement that from that time forward there will no longer be any
leeway given in cases where an athete tests positive in a
standardize and agreed uppon testing procedure. If they are
found to be positive then they are banned for life from any further
participation in college or professional sports of any kind.
WORLD WIDE.

Sound cruel and unusually harsh...too bad.
Athletes need to clean up or get out..period!

03-22-07 Let's see...back 20 or 30 years we we're cooling and
it was an emergency. Now we're warming and it is an emergency
again. Big Al says that the earth has a fever.
According to the Earth Policy Institute's statistics the decade of
1890-1899 had an average temperature of 13.69C (the lowest) and the
2000-2004 average temp was 14.59C (the highest). Lets see
thats 0.9C degree rise in 114 years. OK for all of the non
metric folks thats 1.62F degrees. Hey Goreacle do you take
your kid to the hospital every time they have a 100 degree
temperature? Do you panic and get hysterical and say that
your child's life is over? Well maybe you do, but most of do
not. At 100 degrees most of us will simply observe our
child and see what happens. When the temp goes down again we
send them out to play again. If the temp goes up we give them
some childrens Tylenol and a glass of orange juice let them rest
for a while. If the fever continues to rise then we call the
doctor. The whole temperature thing is pretty bogus
anyway, just ask your doctor. I'll bet you 10 Carbon Offsets
that he will tell you that 98.6F is not an absolute standard for
every human and is a guideline. If you insist on crying wolf
or the sky is falling or what ever the current cry of disaster is,
I would prescribe an earth size Tylenol suppository and you can put
it wher the Sun don't shine. Let me know Al.

Blog: Burn Your American Passport While You're At It!

03-21-07 While I am a hardcore conservative and support the
WHOLE Bill of Rights I think that some forms of "Free Speach" need
to be curtailed. The type of "free speach" depicted in the
photo is one of those. Nothing enrages true Americans
like the sight of our dead soldiers being defiled and drug
through the streets of the countries they died to defend and set
free from cruel oppression. To emulate the savage murdering
terrorist who have mutilated our fallen heros that bring freedom to
the rest of the world is an act that calls in to question your true
feelings and commitment to this country.
You need to turn in your Bible and your passport from
the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA become an Expatriot and travel to the
country of your choice that hates this country as much as you do
and ask them to become a citizen so you can hate us from
afar. That way the next time you attack the United
States you will be seen as an enemy of the State and can be delt
with accordingly, finally and with extreme prejudice.
Until you discover that you have the balls to take that action just
STFU and learn to appreciate just how good you have it here and
learn to love what you enjoy because so many of this countries best
have fought and died to allow you to be the asshole that you
are showing your self to be.

different men claim to be the father of your child after your
death? I guess the only way to settle the matter is to take a
DNA sample from the baby and run it against every known DNA
database in addition to the 7 potential dads.
How many of these potential sperm doners have even a
microscopic bit of concern for the welfare of the baby or is it
more concern for the $400 million payoff from the Texas oil an
husband's will?

Blog: Global Warming?

2-2-07 Global Warming, are we sure? How do we
know? How do we measure it? How do we measure the
contribution of mankind?
As you can tell I'm not sold on the idea of Global Warming or
the idea that mankind is responsible to any great extent. I
believe that the earth warms and cools on a regular basis and that
we as humans have not been on this dirtball in a degree of
developement that could accurately monitor and record the
changes. So in the absence of documented records for a period
of say 50-100 thousand years I don't believe we can determine
that our presence as an industrialize group has caused the
catastrophic changes that the
Greenies
give us credit for. To
this date they have not, to my knowledge, supplied any
formulation to determine the exact effect of say 50,000 tons of
carbon dioxide that we put into the atmosphere, or say 50,000 tons
or methane gas from cow farts. Does it raise the earth's
tempurature a degree over the course of a year? Which is more
harmful Carbon Dioxide or Methane. Which is the most
damaging, man's impact or the contribution of the world's active
volcanos and that on occation blow the top off of a mountain and
put more pollution into the air than mankind ever has?
The jury is still out on these and many other questions and
until the scientific community can provide these answers without
hesitation and disagreement I say we keep our cool and not go
overboard making changes. After all it was a mere 30 years
ago that these same people were telling us that we were in Global
Cooling. Until they can make up their minds and give us solid
answers I say leave well enough alone. Global
Warming? I think maybe Gullible Warming!
Blog: Hillary Will Loose In '08

2-2-07 Although she has been trying to modify her image to be
palatable to the masses I believe she has shown her true colors,
and they are all
RED
. Take from the "rich" and give
to the "poor". Not Robin Hood but the style of government we
defeated in the Cold War. Hillary wants to TAKE the profits
from "Big Oil" and put them in a Stratigic Energy Fund to develope
alternate energy sources. A candidate for President of the
United States who is trying to be the Hugo Chaves of the North is
not electable. I believe that business large and small knows
that if she can "nationalize" Big Oil then she can "nationalize"
any business. It has been pointed out by those that are
smarter than me that if you take their profits they would have no
insentive to continue in that business. That would be a real
smart move on here part! Oh yeah I'm sure it slipped her
steel trap of a mind that the government already takes almost twice
as much in taxes as the company makes is profits. Now she
wants to take the rest too.
What is her rational for doing this? To reduce our
dependence on forgien oil/governments? Let's try developing
our own oil reserves first while safegaurding the local environment
from destruction, which is quite doable. While the subject of
oil is not always high on my priority list, personal freedom and
rights are. This obviously is not a personal rights
issue but it does lay the ground work for the American people to
accept more government intrusion into matters where have no
right to be involved.
Hey Hillary if you wnat to improve our standing in the world
please stop the corruption and greed in the government on both
sides of the isle.
If you need to appease someone then appease the Islamic world
and remove the PORK from the exessive number of bills that get run
through both houses of the federal legislature each year. But
even if you do all that you still are not electable in my book, you
are still wrong on my pet issues.

Blog: Beached Whales

1-9-07 So one of the things that Ted Kennedy wants to
introduce this legislative session is on the subject of
OBESITY. Is this going to be another example of do as I say
not as I do? There is a song that says something like - if
you want to change the world start with the man in the
mirror. Kirstie Allie did it and looks much better.
Fergie did it. Hey Ted make a public spectacle of your self
for the public good. Get a physical, a personal trainer and
hook up with a well known weight loss program and be the public
spokesnam for them and show us all how to fight OBESITY. But
that's probably not what you had in mind was it! You most
likely want to put more government restrictions in place to control
what kids can eat. Ted it won't work! If you tell me I
can't eat cookies I will find a way to eat cookies. What you
need to put in place is manditory physical education classes in
middle and high school. One hour a day five days a week, get
out and get sweaty, get the heart rate up and burn off some
calories. It's simple, burn more calories than you consume
and you will loose weight. I was in high school from 1965-70
and we had to take PE every semister of every year. I could
eat what ever I wanted and I did not get fat. For once let's
try to pass legislation that will actually be beneficial and not
just make some people feel good. Oh yeah Ted don't forget
about the mirror, and start with some low impact exercise - like
swimming.

 1-24-07
It has become very clear that nobody takes the
United Nations seriously anymore because they are just a bunch of
blowhard paper pushers. They have no will to put any teeth in
their numerous resolutions and sanctions. They also
have no determination to clean house of the corruption mongers who
take every well intentioned program and turn it into a personal
gain program for themselves.
They can not keep their own house in order yet they
want to control our lives for the greater good of the international
community. My pet peeve is gun rights and the U.N. is
in direct opposition to the views of me and the majority of
Americans. The U.N. position of disarmament is of course the
precursor to government domination of it's people. Don't
believe me, just look back to the actions of the greatest tyrants
of the world. Registration and then confication. Can't
happen in America you say!! Just look to New Orleans post
Katrina. The mayor and/or the police cheif decided that it
would be a good idea to cancel out the 2nd Amendment and replace it
with their own personal views on how the world should be.
They conficated personal and legally owned firearms at gunpoint and
by force.
My guess is that the U.N. was just over the top
pleased that New Orleans had fallen into line.
In my humble opinion we need to get out of the
United Nations, evict them from our soil, and use our current
contribution to them for the benefit of our own citizen's
lives.
In closing I offer my newest tee shirt design for
your consideration.
